Juval Castle

Juval Castle

Description

‘Juval’ is a jewel, built in 1278 by Hugo von Montalban in the Venosta valley, at the mouth of the Senales valley at an altitude of 925 meters.
Juval Castle has gained renown since mountaineer Reinhold Messner bought it in 1983 and transformed it into a museum featuring artifacts primarily from the Himalayas.

It is open to visitors from late March to early November.
