Mareccio Castle
Description
Situated in the very center of Bolzano, surrounded by vineyards, it is known for its magical atmosphere. One of the few castles built on plain land is accessible within a few minutes walk. Inside, the castle is embellished with fine frescoes from the 16th century.
Because of the many events it hosts, it is often not possible to visit the inside, but a simple view from the outside with the Dolomites in the background is always a great thrill!
People with mobility difficulties can access the ground floor, as well as the rooms on the first floor, without any problems as there is a lift.
