Between the ancient walls of Castel Firmiano beats the heart of a "Enchanted Mountain".
The exhibition itinerary winds through the towers, the rooms, the courtyards and offers visitors an overview of the mountain universe. Works, paintings, relics, natural finds were chosen by Reinhold Messner to tell the story of the close relationship between man and the mountain.
But the "Messner Mountain Museum" - M.M.M. Firmian is not only mountain, here the recent history of South Tyrolean Autonomy in the "White Tower" merges with the Buddhist world in the "North Bastion", where we find the great philosophers of the mountain and their visions.
