Velturno Castle, located between Chiusa and Bressanone, is the most elegant, late Renaissance building of the all region. Was built as the summer residence of the Bressanone bishop-princes, between 1578 and 1587, not a long time if you consider the extremely rich interior decorations and furnishing. The “Prince hall” shows off a breathtaking elegance, with precious inlay works, carried out by  artists coming from North Italy and South Germany.
