In Bolzano not far from the city centre at the entrance of Val Sarentino is  one of the most important castle in SouthTyrol. The famous illustrated castle, so called because it contains the most comprehensive cycle of frescoes of the Middle Ages. Thanks to its colourful paintings, is one of South Tyrol’s major attractions.
