It rises at Sluderno (Schluderns) in Venosta Valley at 5 km. from Malles, with a beautiful view on the Ortles and the Cevedale. It is one of the best preserved castles of South Tyrol and it belongs to the same noble descent since the Middle Ages. Castel Coira offers the largest private armory worldwide.
